With a strategic focus to improve the overall user experiences with their website, Newton Wellesley partnered with AVID Design to plan, design and develop a fully responsive re-launch of their website. This project included a new visual design and upgraded functionality of patient focused tools, such as ED Wait Times, dedicated service subsites and storytelling capabilities.
Goals of the project:
- Develop a new homepage that focuses on the importance of patient-centered care
- Update the existing online presence to be in line with current industry standards
- Increase system awareness through dedicated, focused subsites
- Improve overall usability for patients and their families
The primary intention is to facilitate obvious avenues to patient information such as finding a physician, location or additional information needed for visits. This is accomplished via a storytelling theme that carries throughout the site starting on the homepage and continuing onto distinctive storytelling-based landing pages and into dedicated, service-based subsites including: Vernon Cancer Center, Elfers Cardiology Center and Kaplan Joint Center.
